About us

The Foundation Dětský mozek was established in the year 1992 by doc. MUDr. Vladimír Komárek, CSC., RNDr. Ing. Jiří Němec and JUDr. Aleš Pejchal thanks to a financial gift from the siblings Antonín, František and Ludmila (married as Paulová) Myšák.

The mission statement of the Foundation is a universal support for children and adults who suffer from central nervous system dysfunction.

Help is established by providing financial contribution to subjects or granting of aid to corporations (facilities, which ensure the respite care and domestic care, assistant services or education for disabled).    

The basic untouchable foundation assets, also thanks to the Foundation investment fund, has increased up to 53 910 000 Czech crowns.

By the time of the Foundation´s existence, it has provided over 40 million Czech crowns to the people in need.

The Foundation Dětský mozek (Child‘s brain) operates within the whole territory of the Czech Republic since the year 1999. It is a member of Czech Donor Forum – Association of Foundations and Association of Foundation Funds.
