Domestic and respite care

The philosophy of the so called respite care is based upon experience, that the person, who takes care of a person with disabilities full time, has the right for relaxation. Eventually, years-long or even life-long care of a disabled person leads to a complete physical and mental exhaustion of the caretaker. That is why contributions are provided for respite care, so that the caretaker could pay for several hours, a day or even a week of external guarding of the disabled member of the family. During this time, the caretaker can arrange all necessary matters outside the home, but also have free time for relaxation, education and other activities, that belong to a full-value life.
